Because of a dispute over inheritance, a man and his son were killed in Jordan

The eighth day of the holy month of Ramadan was not normal and calm for the “Al-Hait” family in the Jordanian capital, Amman, because two people were shot dead following family disputes over “inheritance”.

A father in his forties and his son in his twenties died and three others were injured following a family quarrel took place in the Abu Alanda area, east of the capital, Amman, according to the media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate, Colonel Amer Al-Sartawi.

Colonel Al-Sartawi told Al-Arabiya.net that the altercation “resulted in the death of two people from a gunshot wound and the injury of 3 others, who were taken to the hospital.”

Al-Sartawi indicated that a number of parties involved in the quarrel were seized, explaining that investigations are underway.

During the past few hours, social networking sites were buzzing with the news of the killing of Muhammad al-Hait (Abu Fadi) and his son Marwan, in the Abu Alanda area, east of the capital, Amman, at the same time and place.

While the image of the father and his son spread like wildfire, the impact of the shock of the family and close ones, and grief over the region.

The people of the region recalled the good virtues that they enjoyed, good neighborliness and morals, as many pages were covered in black, mourning their killing, amid demands for the maximum punishment for the murderer.

Their bodies were buried following Friday prayers from the Haji Abdul Hafeez Talib Al-Hait Mosque to the Sahab cemetery in the capital, Amman.
