Belgian-Brazilian Andreas Pereira shines in the Premier League with Fulham. The attacking midfielder chatted with Het Nieuwsblad and had complimentary words for Bryan Heynen.
During an interview with the Dutch-speaking media, the Fulham midfielder answers the question of what he misses most in Belgium. Pereira mentions three things: fries, my friends and my father. The latter often comes to watch his matches with Fulham. “But it’s still not the same thing,” explains Pereira. “We are a close-knit family, we can’t go long without each other’s company.”
The midfielder also misses his friends. Pereira is often in contact with KRC Genk’s Bryan Heynen. The two have a strong bond. “Is he the most underrated player in Belgium? 100%, I think so,” says Pereira. “He might easily play in the Premier League.”
“But back to the Belgian fries. My order is chicken nuggets, cervelas sausage and a large portion of fries with meat sauce. Then we’ll spend an hour on the treadmill together.”
