Belgian comedian Florence Mendez dropped a bomb on Friday by announcing that she had collected no less than 14 testimonies once morest comedian Seb Mellia. She thus accuses him of rape, attempted rape, insistent messages and consensual but brutal sex.
The day following this kick in the anthill of humor, several activists heckled a performance by the comedian at the Royal Circus in Brussels.
“There is a dirty rapist in the room,” shouted an activist while Seb Mellia was in full performance, before repeating the word “rapist” several times.
Another activist claimed that “twenty people had testified” once morest the comedian.
Shortly following, Florence Mendez posted several photos and a video of the moment of the interruption with the following message: “Tonight, we took the cause one step forward. To the wonderful people present in front of the room, to the wonderful people who turned around or left the Seb Mellia show, to the courageous activists who made this splash during the show.”
Before concluding with a scathing: “Victim, we believe you, Seb Mellia, we see you”.
