Belgium Weather Alert: Yellow Alert for Slippery Conditions and Snow Forecast

The yellow alert for slippery conditions issued by the Royal Meteorological Institute (IRM) extends to almost the entire country.

Snow might still fall on the heights of the Ardennes in the followingnoon.

In Flanders, there is a high risk of formation of patches of ice and frost in the evening.

Melting snow might still be expected south of the Sambre et Meuse furrow.

As the hours pass, more clearings will form in Lower and Middle Belgium while cloudiness will remain abundant for a large part of the day in Upper Belgium.

Temperatures will range between -1°C in the Eastern Cantons, 5°C in the center and 6°C at the sea. The wind will initially be moderate from the southwest, then it will will orient to the west or northwest and weaken from the coast.
