Brussels – Eden Hazard has declared his career as a professional footballer over at the age of 32. “You have to listen to yourself and say stop at the right moment,” the striker wrote on social networks on Tuesday. This season, the former captain of the Belgian national team, for whom he scored 33 goals in 126 games, was not under contract with any club. In the summer he agreed with Real Madrid to terminate his contract, which originally ran until 2024.
