Makkah / Madinah: Believers prayed Eid al-Fitr in the holy homes in Makkah and Madinah on Monday morning. Haram Imam Sheikh Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid led the prayers at the Haram in Makkah.
Prayers were also held at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. Prince Faisal bin Salman, Governor of Madinah Region, attended the prayer. Prince Saud bin Khalid Al Faisal, Deputy Governor of Madinah Region, also attended the prayer.
The Imam led the prayers and congratulated the believers on the blessed Eid al-Fitr. He prayed to Allah to accept the fasting, prayers, alms and good deeds of the believers. Hundreds of believers attended the Eid-ul-Fitr prayers in Makkah and Madinah.
The Saudi Press Agency reported that believers had gathered in Makkah and Madinah on Monday morning to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers.
