“Benfica” with Trubin defeated “Rangers” and reached the quarter-finals of the Europa League (video)

Portuguese “Benfica” Ukrainian goalkeeper Anatoly Trubin was defeated by the Scottish team “Rangers” in the return match 1/8 finals of the Europa League. The match at the Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow ended with a score of 0:1.

In the team’s first game in Lisbon played a draw (2:2), and the fate of the return match was decided by the only goal scored.

At the 66th minute Rafa Silva realized a one-on-one with the home goalkeeper following Angel Di Maria headed the ball to him in the center circle. The referees, with the help of the VAR system, checked whether there was no offside and scored a goal, since Silva was in his own half of the field at the time of the transfer.

Trubin was in the starting line-up of the “Eagles” and played a full match. At the beginning of the match, Anatoly almost missed a curious goal, when he failed to fix the ball, slippery from the rain, following an opponent’s shot into the near corner. Fortunately, everything worked out and the ball did not fly into the goal, but only into the corner.
