The Computer Crimes Division of the Cicpc reported on the new modality, in which they are identified as alleged representatives of the Bank of Venezuela.

They warn regarding a new type of scams through emails and text messages in Venezuela.

From the Computer Crimes Division of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) they reported on messages sent with the subject “BDV-Línea Venezuela Alert.”

In said email they express that access to the account will expire soon and you must enter a link to initiate an alleged security link, through which they steal user data.

On social networks, several citizens reported that they have been victims of this type of scam but identifying themselves not only as representatives of the Bank of Venezuela but also of other banking entities or product sales platforms.
