After the storming of Brazilian government buildings on Sunday, US President Joe Biden called his Brazilian counterpart on Monday. Biden has expressed his support for newly installed Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and for Brazilian democracy. Lula has accepted Biden’s invitation to come to Washington in February.
