Few Netflix shows live long enough to consider an eighth season, but the animated Big Mouth managed to pull off this feat.according to Deadline The series has been renewed for an eighth and final season, all before the show’s seventh season arrives this year, the report said.
Big Mouth season 8 will be announced in 2024 and will end the era of animated series on Netflix, as the streamer also announced that spin-off show Human Resources will end with a second season scheduled to air this year.
As Deadline reports in its report, series exec and voice of many of the characters Nick Kroll said: “If you told teenagers Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg that high school took eight years to complete, they’d say, ‘Yeah, that sounds regarding right. This never seems to end. “
Netflix has yet to announce exact release dates for season 7 of Big Mouth and season 2 of Human Resources.
