Turkish discount retailer BİM will offer the Samsung Galaxy A17 smartphone for sale starting March 17th, 2026, as part of its weekly promotional catalog, according to announcements this week.
The Galaxy A17, a 4GB RAM, 128GB storage model, will be available for 10,999 Turkish Lira (approximately $335 USD based on current exchange rates), according to A101, another Turkish retailer also offering the phone starting March 19th. The phone features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by an Exynos 1330 processor. It also boasts a 50-megapixel main camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
The availability of the Galaxy A17 at both BİM and A101 signals a continued trend of Turkish retailers offering competitively priced smartphones. A101 previously sold iPhone 15 and iPad 11 models, while BİM has featured other discounted electronic products in recent weeks. The A17 is also IP54 certified, offering protection against dust and water splashes.
The Samsung Galaxy A17 was announced on August 6, 2025, and released on August 14, 2025. The phone runs Android 15 with Samsung’s One UI 7 and supports 5G connectivity. It also includes a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device supports microSDXC cards for expandable storage.
A101 also offers extended warranty options for the Galaxy A17, including one, two, and three-year plans provided by GIG Sigorta A.Ş., priced at 1,620.43 TL, 2,201.97 TL, and 2,783.51 TL respectively. The phone is available in black, blue, and grey color options, though stock appears to be limited at A101 as of today.
