Binghamton University’s osterhout Concert Theater was filled with excitement Saturday as 74 Doctor of Pharmacy students, accompanied by their loved ones, officially received their White Coats. The annual White Coat Ceremony signifies a pivotal moment, representing the students’ formal induction into the rigorous and rewarding world of pharmacy.

Dean Kanneboyina Nagaraju addressed the incoming class, now known as P1s, emphasizing the journey ahead. “We pledge to educate and prepare you to become patient-centered pharmacists who will practice at the top of your license,” he stated. “When you graduate in four years, you will be equipped to excel in any path within the diverse field of pharmacy.”
