NEW DELHI: A secret meeting of top leaders at a wildlife sanctuary has fueled political speculation amid indications of a break-up in the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh. A 9-hour long meeting was held at Rathapani Wildlife Sanctuary in Bhopal on Saturday.

General Secretary BL Santosh, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Ministers Narendra Singh Tomar, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Prahlad Patel, Virendra Khattik, Faggan Singh Kulaste, former General Secretary Muralidhar Rao, State Minister Narottam Mishra, Kailash Vijayvargiya, State President V. D. Sharma and others participated in the meeting.

Rumors were fueled by the exclusion of some prominent ministers and the leaders not responding to media queries regarding the meeting. The participating leaders did not respond to questions regarding the talks.
