Blinken discusses with Cavusoglu the situation on Ukraine and the settlement between Baku and Yerevan

Today, Tuesday, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken held a meeting in New York with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, during which he discussed the situation on Ukraine as well as the settlement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

A statement issued by the head of the State Department’s press service, Ned Price, said that the US Secretary of State indicated that the United States continues to interact to promote dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

“The two ministers also discussed ways to enhance NATO coordination and unity in response to Russia’s war once morest Ukraine,” the statement added. Blinken also thanked Turkey for its “diplomatic efforts aimed at ensuring the continued supply of Ukrainian grain through the Black Sea.”
