A boat operator reportedly slammed into the shore of Lake of the Ozarks in the United States, leaving his boat to crash into a nearby house. The eight people on board were ejected from the boat.

First aground, the boat then crashed into the house before overturning, ejecting all the passengers, reported the New York Post.

Adam Ramirez, the 47-year-old driver, was possibly intoxicated at the time of the accident, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

All the people on board were of legal age. Six of them were seriously injured, including the driver, while two other people had minor injuries, according to the authorities’ report.
