Muscat: One person died following boats caught fire in Musandam governorate. Nine people were injured. The incident took place at Khasab Port. The cause of the fire is not clear.
The first fire broke out in a boat parked near the harbor shore. The Civil Defense and Ambulance Department said that it later spread to two other boats. The fire was completely extinguished by the fire brigade.
The body was shifted to the morgue. The injured were given first aid and shifted to hospital for specialist care. No casualty information is available.
