On November 15, a Boeing 787 Dreamliner landed on the Antarctic snow at Troll airfield. This is the first time that such a large plane has landed in this area.

It is a Norse Atlantic Airways car chartered by the Norwegian Polar Institute from Oslo. He stopped off in Cape Town, South Africa. 45 passengers were on board, as well as 12 tons of equipment.
