Boise State Men’s Golf Finishes Strong at Oregon State Invitational and Looks Ahead to Ka’anapali Classic Collegiate

Corvallis, Ore. – Junior transfer Ryan Meyer posted his best finish as a Boise State Bronco to lead men’s golf to a seventh-place finish at the Oregon State Invitational, Tuesday at Trysting Tree Golf Club.

Meyer finished inside the top 20 at T-19th following he carded rounds of 72-75-72 (219, +6).

T19. Ryan Meyer: +6 (72-75-72 – 219)
T27. Cole Rueck: +8 (724-78-69 – 221)
T32. Gavyn Knight: +9 (72-73-77 – 222)
T42. Will O’Connor: +10 (69-79-75 – 223)
T42. Drew Reinke: +10 (73-73-77 – 223)

NOTABLES

Cole Rueck and Will O’Connor carded the lowest rounds of the tournament at 2-under 69 in the first and third rounds, respectively.
Boise State was fourth in the 14-team field in par-5 scoring (4.78, -10).
Rueck was tied for first in the field in par-5 scoring (4.56, -4), and he was tied for third with 11 birdies on his hometown course.
