“Boston Uprising’s Coaching Change: Updates and News for the 2023 Overwatch Season”

2023-05-17 09:30:13

The Boston Uprising has had a great start to the 2023 season. The team is currently 3-1 and is fourth in the West Division standings, just behind the Houston Outlaws. Yet despite this success, the Uprising have announced that they are making a change to their coaching staff.

As stated in a statement, assistant coach Ji “Jidset” Yeoung-hun is leaving the team following signing with them in March. The reason for this coaching change has not been confirmed, but Uprising’s General Manager Aaron Heckman said:

“We are grateful for the contribution [de Jidset] to the team and their role in our 3-1 start. However, we decided to go in a different direction heading into the second half of the season. »

There’s no word on who the Uprising are considering as a replacement assistant coach, but no doubt that will be clarified soon.
