Everything is in place for the welterweight unification fight between Kim Clavel and Mexican Yessica Nery Plata. Both boxers weighed in at the official weigh-in.
The Quebecer showed 107.8 lbs on the scale while her opponent revealed 104.1 lbs.
The duel will take place Friday evening at Place Bell in Laval. Previously, the fight was scheduled for 1is last December, but Clavel was struggling with the flu. It will only be the second time the Mexican has appeared in a ring outside of Mexico.
The Montreal native holds the WBC flyweight title. Plata has the equivalent in the WBA.
Presented in the undercard at welterweight, Marie-Pier Houle also made the weight. She will go in the ring for her first eight-round bout once morest Mexican Marisol Moreno.
