Bear then asks, “But you sure had some wild years, right?”

Bradley replies, “As far as alcohol and drugs, yes. But it had nothing to do with fame. But I got lucky, you know? I quit drinking at 29. , and you know, I’ve been sober for 19 years. I was very lucky.”

The actor shares how his experiences with addiction influenced his performance as Jackson Maine on ‘A Star is Born’ and he’s grateful he’s been “comfortable” with his issues at this point in his life. “It made it easier for me to really immerse myself in this role, and thank goodness I was at a point in my life where I was comfortable with it all, so I might really let go,” did he declare.
