On this July followingnoon, several generations of Meldois gathered in the garden of a house located close to the administrative city, in Meaux (Seine-et-Marne). It is in this that the Meldois Collective has taken up residence for several months and these inhabitants of the Bossuet estate have been witnesses for several years to the action of the association chaired by Ali Doucouré. Created ten years ago to fight once morest malnutrition in Mali and Senegal, the structure which has 250 members has reoriented itself towards local issues. “We thought it was relevant to intervene in a territory where we were identified,” explains the founder, who grew up in the Dunant district.
