After the legal dispute between the Federal Supreme Court of Brazil and Elon Musk, owner of X Corp., which caused X/Twitter to be blocked in Brazil for about a month, the Supreme Court’s demands for the restoration of the service were finally met this week, allowing the application to be unblocked throughout the national territory.
Although many users still preferred to stay on platforms like Bluesky or Threads, which served as a refuge during the period when X was blocked, many are returning to their pre-blocking routine. As a result, the number of downloads of the X application has seen an exponential increase in recent days, which was to be expected.
