The agency explained that of the eight injured: four were inmates of the Reclusorio Oriente and four were custodians of the Mexico City prison system, all due to disaster without requiring transfer to a hospital.
According to official information, at least 300 uniformed officers were deployed both inside the prison and in the customs area.
Until 2:30 p.m. the situation is reported as controlled.
