Sergei Denisenko repented and pleaded guilty to the murder of officer Stanislav Rzhitsky. The investigation will ask to send him to a pre-trial detention center.
The video from the interrogation of Denisenko on July 13 was distributed by the Investigative Committee. He answered positively twice to questions regarding remorse and admission of guilt.
Before being taken to court, the suspect was returned to the scene of the crime, where his testimony was verified.
Denisenko was detained following the murder of Stanislav Rzhitsky, deputy head of the department for mobilization work of the Krasnodar administration. He was shot while jogging. Previously, Rzhitsky was the commander of the Krasnodar submarine.
