A woman was stabbed on Sunday followingnoon in the Plateau-Mont-Royal borough of Montreal, and the police are trying to apprehend the suspect.
The assault occurred around 3:30 p.m. in a dwelling on rue Le Jeune, near boulevard Saint-Joseph.
When they arrived at the scene, the police found the victim outside the building “conscious and injured in the upper body”, possibly by a stabbing weapon, said Constable Caroline Chevrefils, spokesperson for the Police Department of the City of Montreal (SPVM).
We would not fear for his life, he said.
The police are trying to locate the suspect, a man.
The circumstances surrounding the attack as well as the link between the two people remain unknown for the moment.
