During the trials in Jamaica for the world championships in athletics, the vice-world champion in the 100m, Shericka Jackson, hitherto discreet, was stratospheric. She far exceeds Ta Lou’s 10s75, slamming a time of 10s65, the best performance of the season. Jackson also signs the fifth fastest time of all time. She also becomes the third fastest Jamaican in 100m history behind Elaine Thompson-Herah (10s54) and Shelly-Anne Fraser Pryce (10s60).
