Dengue fever was brought to Kaliningrad, which was announced on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, by the head of the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor, Elena Babur.
The first two cases of dengue fever in our region were among local travelers returning from Southeast Asian countries. On the air of the Center for Regional Management, Elena Babur said that mosquitoes carry this virus there.
Symptoms of mild dengue fever, according to WHO, are high fever, severe headache, pain in the back of the eyeball, muscle and joint pain, vomiting, swelling of the glands, rash.
