The eccentric Belgian visual artist and songwriter Jan Verstraeten was in Montreal as part of the Montreal Jazz Festival. He performed early Thursday evening on the Place des Festivals stage. Our photographer Pierre Langlois fell in love with his amazing performance! Back in photos on the event.

FEQ festival-goers will be able to see him at work this Sunday, July 9 at 6 p.m. at Place de l’Assemblée Nationale. It’s free! He will also perform at La Noce, at the Pulperie de Chicoutimi, on Saturday evening.
