Kuwait City: Five expatriates have been arrested in Kuwait for operating a brewery. Five Asians were arrested. The accused had produced liquor locally in the Ahmadi area.
500 cans of liquor prepared for sale and the equipment used to make them were seized from the distillery. Those arrested will be subjected to further action.
