A statement by the British pop band (S Club 7) on Twitter said that Paul Cattermole, the band’s star in the nineties, has died at the age of 46. “We are deeply saddened and saddened by the news of our brother Paul’s passing. Words cannot describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We are so fortunate to have him in our lives and are grateful for our wonderful memories,” the statement read.

S Club 7 scored a string of hits in Britain between 1999 and 2003 and appeared in a children’s television series in which the seven members of the band performed fictionalized versions of themselves.
