Brown bear Losa arrived in Salzburg last Thursday. Now she is exploring her terrain for the first time.
Losa has spent her life in a Swedish wildlife park. She is 21 years old. In the Salzburg Zoo she meets the brown bear Aragon. He was born in Salzburg Zoo in 1993 and lived with his mother for many years. So he is used to being in the facility together with a conspecific. Losa went for a swim during her exploration and showed Aragon that she now “lives” here as well by rubbing her back once morest trees, marking them with her scent.
