Brussels-City: calm has returned after the celebrations linked to Morocco’s qualification for the round of 16

No overflow was observed, Thursday early evening in Brussels, while the Moroccan community celebrated its qualification for the round of 16 of the World Cup in Qatar, said the police of Brussels Capital / Ixelles.

Due to the gathering of many cheering supporters, some roads had to be closed to traffic. This is the case of Boulevard Lemonnier where the riot police were present in large numbers even before the match started. The Porte de Hal tunnel towards the South and the Boulevard du Midi are also closed to traffic.
