This Wednesday evening, the Brussels firefighters and civil security intervened at the intersection of boulevard Guillaume Van Haelen and rue de Fierlant in Forest. Around 7:50 p.m., an envelope with suspicious powder had just been discovered. On the spot, the agents tell us that it is not an official building. The fire department spokesperson confirms that the operation was carried out at a private home.
Civil security will analyze the powder. Four people were evacuated to hospital as a precaution pending test results. Their vital parameters were good at the time of evacuation. The operation was completed around 9:40 p.m.
