Last Wednesday, Brussels police arrested a man who was driving with a loaded weapon in his vehicle. Drugs and a pair of bloody shoes were found at his home, the Brussels prosecutor’s office said on Tuesday, confirming information from Sudinfo.
“A suspect was arrested on November 1 following a police check in Ixelles,” explains a spokesperson for the prosecution. “During this check, the police noticed that the vehicle had a false registration. It later emerged that the car in question had been stolen. On board, the police discovered a loaded weapon, several brass knuckles, and tear gas spray. The suspect was arrested and placed at the disposal of the prosecution.”
A search carried out the same day resulted in ammunition, narcotics and a pair of bloody shoes being found. The prosecution requested an investigating judge who placed the individual under arrest warrant for possession and transport of prohibited weapons, transport of a firearm loaded with ammunition and illegal possession of narcotics with a view to sale, in association.
