A chase followed through Koekelberg and Molenbeek-Saint-Jean. Police teams from Brussels-West (Jette/Ganshoren/Koekelberg/Molenbeek-Saint-Jean/Berchem-Sainte-Agathe) also took part.

After a second interception of the suspect vehicle, the driver once more managed to flee, hitting several police vehicles.
