The victim, born in 1971, came from the Clos Lamartine leisure site on Saturday around 5:00 a.m. and was heading on foot towards her home when she was attacked. Four individuals jumped on her and beat her. The attackers then stole a cell phone and the chains she was wearing around her neck.
A passerby who saw the victim lying on the ground alerted the police.
Seriously injured, the fifty-year-old was taken to hospital.
An investigation is underway to try to identify the perpetrators.
