If the ORF switches from GIS to an ORF contribution from everyone on January 1, 2024, a total of five federal states will waive taxes on this contribution. Burgenland remains with its state levy, and it also remains at the previous level: 30 percent levy on the contribution as before for the GIS. It will still be a bit cheaper per household than before – because the federal government and ORF get less than from the GIS.
