Robert Beutler remains commercial director of Burgtheater GmbH. As Secretary of State for Culture Andrea Mayer (Greens) announced, Beutler’s five-year contract, which has been in place since January 2019, has been extended by a further five years. It is therefore clear that Beutler will also stay at the side of future Burgtheater director Stefan Bachmann, who will take office as successor to Martin Kušej from the 2024/25 season.
