Kochi: Motor Vehicle Department (MVD) seized a tourist bus that had gone on a sightseeing trip. Aluva Joint RTO intercepted the bus named ‘Xpod’ which started from Edathala MES College, Ernakulam. Many violations were found in the bus. Officials said they found illegal lights, loud noise system along with body color change and unauthorized additions.
As the bus was taken into custody, the students’ journey was interrupted. 45 students of the BE center were going on a two-day trip to Kodaikanal. The college authorities did not comply with the condition that the vehicle should be sent for inspection in advance in writing at the RT office.
