Egger: Prosperity cannot be maintained with reduced working hours and property taxes

Vienna (OTS) “Today’s ORF press hour once once more clearly showed how Babler sends his comrades out to propagate his fantasy ideas regarding shortening working hours and wealth taxes. We currently have 200,000 job vacancies and a recession. Our business location is in danger of falling behind. This problem will not be solved with less work and higher taxes. The President of the Chamber of Labor will also notice this, at the latest when there is no one left to look following our children or look following our relatives. Instead of spreading unrealistic fantasies, Anderl should make more effort to support feasible solutions that actually help the four million employees and do not put them under even more strain. People have earned real relief for the labor factor through the qualitative and quantitative expansion of customer service, a reduction in non-wage labor costs, more tax-exempt overtime and further simplification of the influx of skilled workers,” said WB Secretary General Abg. e.g. NO. Mag. Kurt Egger.
