The authorities of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI), through a statement, denied the recently released news that they have stopped their financial support to member countries.
“With respect to the news that has circulated in recent days, at CABEI we want to clarify very emphatically that our objective as a development bank is to serve all member countries in implementing projects that positively transform the lives of Central Americans,” said the Regional Organization.
CABEI clarified that it in no way seeks to stop support for any country. On the contrary, it confirms that its objective is to support more in the implementation of comprehensive solutions that reduce poverty, promote equity, contribute to the care of the environment, promote the development of infrastructure, increase competitiveness and improve the quality of life of people.
