This Wednesday, the Confederation of African Football (CAF), meeting as an executive committee in Cairo, awarded the organization of the African Cup of Nations (CAN) for the 2025 and 2027 editions. The 35th edition of the competition returned in Morocco, the next, an absolute first, to a trio of countries, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
While Morocco already organized the CAN in 1988, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, co-organizers in 2027, were awarded the tournament for the very first time.
