Belleair, Florida – WNBA sensation Caitlin Clark is making a return to competitive action, but not on the hardwood. The Indiana Fever guard will showcase her golfing skills at The Annika‘s Pro-Am next month,following a season cut short by injury.

Clark’s Golfing Return and Previous Experience

The Pro-Am event is scheduled for november 12th at the Pelican Golf Club, and will be open to the public. Clark previously participated in the same Pro-Am last November,making a important impact with her presence and drawing large crowds. She had the chance to play alongside golfing greats Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam.

“I had an amazing time at The Annika last November and participating in the pro-am alongside Nelly Korda and Annika Sorenstam, two of the best in the game,” Clark stated. The Annika tournament itself is positioned as the penultimate event on the LPGA Tour schedule.

A Challenging Season for the Rising Star

Clark’s foray back onto the golf course comes after a WNBA season that was unfortunately impacted by a series of injuries.She was limited to just 13 games before a groin injury sidelined her on September 4th, prematurely ending her second season with the indiana Fever.

Despite the challenges,the Indiana Fever secured a playoff berth but were ultimately eliminated by the Las Vegas Aces in the semifinals. Clark maintains a corporate relationship with Gainbridge Insurance, the main sponsor of The Annika.
