To ensure rapid access to the COVID-19 screening test, a mobile screening clinic is open at 280, boulevard Arthur-Buies (Center communautaire Saint-Pie X), starting today, 8 a.m.
Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on November 29 and 30. To avoid queues, it is strongly recommended to make an appointment at 1 877 644-4545. The screening clinic at 288 rue Pierre-Saindon is also open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., every day.
During the day yesterday, the CISSS du Bas-Saint-Laurent reported 20 new cases of COVID-19 in its daily report, 10 of which are in the MRC of Rimouski-Neigette. In the past seven days alone, the Bas-Saint-Laurent region has seen an increase of 106 new cases of COVID-19.
