The future of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III continues to take shape. After revealing some of the content for Season 1 which will begin in early December, Sledgehammer provides some details on the cards that will arrive during the first season and beyond. The studio actually engaged in a question/answer exercise on Reddit.

Future Modern Warfare III maps

While Sledgehammer Games has already lifted the veil on a map that will be available in Skirmish mode, namely Training Facility, the developer has just revealed that Season 1 will welcome a total of 6 maps designed for 2v2. Among them, four will be directly from Modern Warfare II. Indeed, players will be able to count on the return of Shipment.

If we already know that the game will host many maps from Modern Warfare II, CharlieINTEL has spotted a selection of four of them which should soon be integrated into the Sledgehammer title. Thus, Farm 18, Shoot House, Crown Raceway and Mercado Las Almas should be accessible in the coming weeks in a dedicated playlist, but with the new gameplay mechanics of Modern Warfare III.

Finally, the studio has confirmed that no maps from Modern Warfare 2 (2009) DLC are planned at the moment. The majority of upcoming maps will be new.

Call of Duty : Modern Warfare III est disponible sur Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 et PC.
