The health commission of the Campania Regional Council has given the green light to the bill “Provisions for the prevention and treatment of nutrition and eating disorders”.
The proposed law, which aims to strengthen interventions for the prevention and treatment of eating disorders, represents an important step forward in protecting the health of Campania citizens.
This provision introduces concrete measures for the early diagnosis, management and rehabilitation of people suffering from nutrition and eating disorders, such as anorexia, bulimia and binge eating disorder, involving both public health facilities and local services.
