During the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, a car fell into a ravine in the Charleroi countryside, according to LaDh. The accident occurred between Marchienne-au-Pont and Roux, around 1 a.m.
The section of road was plunged into darkness and the driver apparently missed a turn. The car peaked into the ravine. Although the driver was able to get out of the car and call for help, the passenger, seriously injured, was trapped in the passenger compartment.
