Sports.- He Caracas Football Club announced this Saturday the departure of the coach Henry Melendezwho held the position for only three months, in which He achieved two victoriesthree draws and eight defeats in the Opening Tournament of the Venezuelan League and in the Liberators cup.

“The board of directors of Caracas Fútbol Club announces the termination of the contract, by mutual agreement, of technical director Henry Meléndez,” the team reported through a message on its X account.

He also reported that Melendez will continue to lead the coordination of the minor categories of the institution.

Meléndez was appointed technical director of Caracas FC at the end of last March, replacing Leonardo “Leo” Gonzalezwho left the team in eleventh place in the Venezuelan League, with only two wins and four draws in ten games.

In this year’s Apertura Tournament, the capital team was left out of the final phasein eleventh place in the standings with only 12 points.

Meanwhile, in the Copa Libertadores the team finished last in its group with just one point, following achieving five defeats and one draw.
