Carrefour Extra Brand Mozzarella Di Bufala Campana Mini: Product Withdrawal and Consumer Safety Precautions

2023-08-14 16:52:00

Following an inspection and as a precautionary measure to guarantee consumer safety, Carrefour is withdrawing the Carrefour Extra brand “Mozzarella Di Bufala Campana Mini” product from the market.

This product was sold in the dairy department of some Carrefour stores in Belgium, and the chain is reminding consumers of it following a possible presence of listeria, Carrefour said in a press release on Monday. This is the 120g Di Bufala Campana Mini mozzarella from the Carrrefour Extra brand with a validity date of 08/17/2023 (lot 199).

“All of the products have been withdrawn from sale. Some of these products were however marketed, on the Belgian market, before the withdrawal measure. It is therefore recommended to people who hold the products described above not to consume them and destroy them or bring them back to the point of sale where they will be reimbursed”, explains Carrefour.
